Milinda A.A. Smith is an inspiring Caribbean children's author who brings her deep love for children and passion for education into every book she creates. Hailing from the lush, rural countryside of Jamaica, Milinda's journey is one of perseverance, purpose, and a commitment to making a difference in as many lives as she can.

Her extensive experience working with children includes roles as a nurturing nanny and a dedicated behavior technician for children on the autism spectrum. Currently, Milinda is excelling in the corporate office of an INC 5000 Top 5 company, championing initiatives that support children with autism.

Milinda’s dedication extends beyond her professional life. As a 2nd runner-up in the Miss Jamaica World 2016 competition under the Miss World pageant system, she demonstrated grace, intellect, and a commitment to service. Her achievements also include receiving the prestigious Presidential Gold Service Award and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding contributions to her community.
A firm believer that "learning never stops", Milinda advocates for education as a lifelong journey, an ethos that shines through in her literary contributions. With every publication, she aims to inspire curiosity, foster resilience, and spark joy in her young learners.
